Australia’s Bush Fires concerns:

January 2020

As you may have seen and read through various media channels, rural areas across Australia are experiencing unprecedented bush fire activity impacting Australia’s regional communities. Australia is a continent with vast lands and landscape of natural bushes and animals. In most summers, due to the hot weather, Australia can suffer from bush fires, usually at a smaller, controllable scale. Unfortunately, in 2019 Australia has a larger scale of bush fires impacting dozens of communities, mostly in rural areas.

CP International is very fortunate that all of the campuses of institutions we represent in Australia are located safely away from the bushfires; and are currently operating as normal with all activities going ahead as planned. But we feel the effect the fires have on our rural communities, so as part of our support, CP International believes in power of humanity and has donated contributing support funds to the bushfires rescue through The Australian Red Cross.

Most destinations in Australia remain safe and continue to welcome international students and visitors. Almost all campuses of the institutions CP International represents remain open and it is safe for students to live and study at these institutions.

The welfare of our students is always our primary consideration and we very much look forward to welcoming our new and existing international students to Australia!

Once again, thank you for your continued support to CP International, and best wishes for a successful and prosperous Chinese New Year 2020!
